Introduction to Computer Science

A continuation of CSCI-111 in which software development skills are improved and refined, this course places emphasis on data abstraction, data structures, and algorithms. Common data structures and algorithms, including arrays, lists, maps, stacks, queues, hash tables, trees, heaps, searching, sorting, and recursion, will be covered. The course includes a laboratory component that provides hands-on experience to help students understand the principles covered in the lectures.
