The Wing IDE

Wing is an integrated development environment (IDE) by WingWare for use in developing Python programs. The IDE is available on the CS department Linux systems, but you can also download a free version of Wing for use on your own computer. You will also need to download and install Python (version 3.8.x or newer) on your computer before installing Wing. By default, Wing uses the version of Python installed on your machine. If there is more than one version of Python installed on your machine, you will need to configure the IDE to use Python 3.
